At the heart of Denver > Downtown is the 16th Street Mall at over 1.25 miles long, it has FREE bus rides going end to end giving you easy access the more than 250+ stores lining the street making it a favorite tourist destination. The buses are natural gas powered so you can feel comfortable walking or taking the bus up and down the street. The 16th Street mall has been around for 30+ years and Denver is the process of updating it to make it even more exciting. Breckenridge's first-ever Wildflower Week, an 11-day (event times vary by activity) celebration of peak alpine bloom season in the Colorado Rockies. Hosted by the Breckenridge Tourism Office, the festival features free guided naturalist hikes, concerts in nature by the National Repertory Orchestra, Breck Create art classes, community yoga, family-friendly crafts, botanical-inspired menus and cocktails, a Community Weed Pull, and a Summer Beer Festival. Rooted in Leave No Trace principles.

The 18th Annual Green Box Arts Festival, July 4-19, 2026. A two-week multidisciplinary celebration of visual and performing arts held in Green Mountain Falls, Colorado. The 2026 festival features five new visual art installations, performances including Oklahoma City Ballet and a filmed Santa Fe Opera production of La Boheme, and a multi-day America250 celebration beginning July 4 with an Independence Day parade, community lunch, pie contest, block party, WWII-era aircraft flyover, and Water Lantern Launch at Gazebo Lake. Ticketed events range from $5-$15, with dozens of free offerings including concerts, hikes, family theatre, guided art walks, and healing arts programming.

The 29th annual Taste of Pikes Peak on Thursday, July 9, 2026, 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM. A food and beverage tasting event hosted by the Pikes Peak Chapter of the Colorado Restaurant Association. Attendees sample tastings from local restaurants, breweries, distilleries, and specialty food vendors, with live music. Proceeds support the Pikes Peak Chapter of the Colorado Restaurant Association, including the Colorado Restaurant Foundation and ProStart programs in regional high schools.
